5. Immediately after your tryout... Joining a team

During the course of and immediately following each tryout session, the PPVC coaches and staff will announce the selection of teams for each age group and ask for each player/parent in those groups to commit to playing for their selected Pikes Peak team this season.  This will be done via a Commitment to Pikes Peak Volleyball Club form, which each player selected for a team will be offered and will need to sign for their spot on the team.

PPVC operates under a first commit, first served policy.  Ten commitment forms will be offered for each team, and if any player chooses not to commit to PPVC at that time, PPVC reserves the right to offer that position to another player who is ready to commit to playing for our team.

PPVC understands tryouts are a stressful time for players and families, as it is for the club as well.  We also understand that families have other options for club volleyball, and may wish to participate in other club's tryouts.

With that understanding, PPVC is building, growing and improving a professional image and program.  We offer an excellent club volleyball experience which we believe is a desirabe product and worthy of a commitment.  Because of this, any players choosing to not commit to a PPVC team after tryouts runs the risk of their offered position no longer being available if that player chooses to leave tryouts without committing to PPVC.

*Be Aware: RMR rules state that a player has until December 15th to make a commitment to a team, but PPVC teams start practicing in mid-November and the club will not hold a position on a team open for longer than a few days.

6. Questions?

Most questions can be answered by reading through this website, but if you have further questions you can email the Director at pikespeakvb@gmail.com

NOTE: For girls who aren't selected for a PPVC team...

For girls who aren't selected for a team, or can't play a full club volleyball schedule due to religious or financial considerations, should check our website often for clinics and training sessions held throughout the year as alternative ways to improve their skills.

As another option, players not selected for a PPVC team this season should also consider the volleyball programs at Big House Sports as a way to participate and continue to grow their skills.  PPVC coaches regularly help out and work with the Big House staff at different camps, leagues and events.

We are BIG fans of the Big House and the kid-focused manner in which it operates!
