National team players have the same attitude and desire about their volleyball career, but who may not be quite ready for an Elite team. The reasons could be physical, mental, financial or even a personal choice. We expect our National players to strive to compete at the highest level they possess.
National team tournaments: Friendship, 5 Powers, RMR Regionals, plus 4 or 5 multi-day weekend tournaments including Colorado Crossroads
Regional team players love the sport of volleyball and want to play to improve their game. Though there is a slightly shorter schedule and reduced financial responsibility, we expect our Regional players to strive for a National team level in the future.
Regional team tournaments: Friendship, 5 Powers, RMR Regionals, plus 2 or 3 multi-day weekend tournaments including Colorado Crossroads
All players regardless of age or team level are expected to make and fulfill a commitment to their team and all responsibilities which come with that team. Volleyball is a team sport and your team is counting on your commitment!
All teams begin their regular practice schedule during the week of Nov 15, 2010 (see PPVC Master Schedule for specific dates to be posted) and will continue through either RMR Regionals or Jr. Nationals.
All National and Regional teams practice two weeknights per week for two hours each night (usually either M/W or T/R)
this varies slightly based on age group and level of team (see above Matrix for more information)
Plyometric training and separate position skills clinics will be held on Saturdays throughout the season (see Training page and PPVC Master Schedule for specific dates to be posted)
